in Kunming. |

2 |
Drive
to Dali, boat trip on Lake Erhai to visit a local
Bai village on the other side of it. |

3 |
Visit
the Three Pagodas and take the cable car up to Mt.
Cangshan at 2550m to visit Zhonghe Temple and walk
along the Clouds Road. |
| Day
4 |
Visit
Xizhou Morning Market and traditional Bai architecture,
enjoy the Three Courses Tea Ceremony with dancing.
Drive to Lijiang and visit the old town. |

5 |
Explore
Monastery and villages including to Yuhu village
where Dr. Joseph Rock used to live. Drive to Puji
and walk through pine forest to Puji Monastery.
Visit Black Dragon Pool. |

6 |
Drive
to Shangri-La (Zhongdian) with visits to the First
Bend of the Yangtze and the Tiger Leaping Gorge,
stopping at Yi and Tibetan villages along the way. |

Visit
Tibetan Songzhalin Monastery, Napa Lake, local market
and old part of Shangri-La. |

Drive
to Xiacheng via mountain passes at 4380m with beautiful
views of the mountains and river gorges and pastures
along the way. |

Drive
to Litang via mountain pass at 4580m for fantastic
views, drive through Mt. Haizishan with lakes and
fantastic rock landscape at 4200m. |

Visit
Litang Horse Festival, Litang Monastery and nomads
