1, Deqin |
Zhongdian-Benzilan-Deqin |
Benzilan,
a lunch stop town where you can find buses to Derong
and some guesthouses for acc.
Shusong Nunnery, only 5 km along with Tongtaling
Monastery.
SMt Meili, the holy Mount of Kham. It is an untouched
peak up to now.
The section , Zhongdian-Deqin,is under construction
for a wider one in 2002.

2, Markham |
Deqin-Yanjing-Markham |
The
section, Deqin-Markham, is notorious for landslides
in monsoon season.
Yanjing, means salt-pans, was once main source of
salt for half Kham Tibetan area. Nowadays the hourse
caravans only appear in the region. The Catholic
church is being reconstructed. It will be finished
in 2003.
The original was built start of 20c by French priest.
Hot spring, located on west bank of Mekong .Y2/p.p
for outdoor pools, Y10/p.p for indoor pools. good
restaurant for lunch and guesthouse.(there are no
restaurants and guesthouse at Yanjing.)

Overnight in Markhan, the best room in Markham is
Y20/bed of Minjing guesthouse.(Karaoke club at the
end of corridor, which make noise until midninght.) |

3, Bamda |
Markham-Rongme-Dzogang-Temto-Bamda |
The
frist section of that day is so-called 99 bents.
After 45 km from Markham, crossing Mekong bridge
. the second section of that day is paved highway
for nearly 60 km from Dzogang to Temto.
Dzogang, overlooks Yu-chu river and forest around
, good place for for lunch.
At Temto is extremely hospitable, but dogs not.
